Hi, my name is CJ. Also, this is the English name I’m sharing with you here.

🇲🇴🇯🇲. + 🇪🇸🇵🇹🇫🇷=🇨🇦 I am Macanese, with Cantonese/Chinese and Portuguese ancestry, and I primarily follow East Asian cultural norms and values.

I’m sharing this part of my identity for those who may not be familiar with Macau’s history and its connections to China, Portugal, and the wider history of East Asia. For those who are East Asian, share a cultural background rooted in this region, or connect with Eastern philosophies, I would prefer to be addressed by my Asian name.

My family name is "Zhuang"; and I deeply appreciate those who respect my mother and me in carrying on her family name. Through restoring our family tree, we are preserving our lineage, honouring our ancestors, and passing down our family traditions to future generations.

Our origins and heritage are important to us, and we take pride in preserving the history and traditions that connect us to our roots. As someone of Cantonese and Portuguese heritage, I identify as Chinese, Macanese, and Portuguese.

I also have a connection to the Métis people here in Canada, which is another part of my identity and heritage that I acknowledge and value. To me, identity is more than ancestry alone.

It is about honouring where we come from, respecting the traditions passed down to us, and carrying our family history forward with pride.

Zhuang (It's Family name of Ji House & Wang House) = 庄（姬姓与王姓的家族姓氏） Room Rules 1. We all have freedom of speech so as people I feel you can kind of say or write whatever you would like to, so feel free to do that.
